Psychic Spring is a contemplative work created during a residency at the Lunenburg School of the Arts, reflecting on the vulnerability of growth and emergence. The project imagines the sensation of becoming—of a fragile seed pushing through soil shaped by ancestral memory, encountering light, air, and exposure for the first time. Through this lens, Psychic Spring explores growth not as triumph, but as a frightening and delicate act, foregrounding tenderness, uncertainty, and the quiet courage required to begin.
